snow day

this snow is giving me the perfect opportunity to sit on my couch and blog away...

OK...I guess I lied, I'm just getting back to this post and since the snow day I've gone to work 3 times...hmm must have gotten side tracked with my on demand Hawaii Five-O marathon, give me a break. It's hard to blog frequently when I don't have a cute little kid to talk about and I'm a horrible cook (so no receipes coming your way). However I can blog about this little cutie..

I can also share some pictures from Christmas...

Oh hey, there's a cute little kid I can blog about :) Ryan kept telling Reagan he loved his new Toy Story bookbag, but was corrected everytime that it's a 'suitcase on his back'.

So we moved the ping pong table for more room and look how creative the boys got...each has a paddle and they had to keep the ball from hitting the floor (evan, michael, rhys, william & dad)

bad day

ryan and i look feel a little like these two...



yes...we have absolutely nothing in our fridge/freezer

Yes...I got a pop out of the fridge this morning and it was warm

YEs...we took 4 garbage bags full of food to the dumpster

YES...I just went to the grocery store on the 15th and spent $100 on groceries (and it's only the 19th)

YES...all of our food was spoiled because our fridge wasn't working!!!

impressed

so when i was taking a break at work the other day, i was flipping through an OK! magazine very educational book and came across the wedding spread for disney channels Hilary Duff.

i fell in love with her wedding!!

#1: the bridesmaids dress

i love the color and shape at the top. her sister looked great!

#2: the cake

she chose to not use frosting on the outside of the cake. i look at it like an awesome pair of heels that kill your feet to wear them, but TOTALLY makes the outfit so you go with it anyway. the cake gives a vintage/homemade feel, but oh so romantic and beautiful!

#3: the decorations

the draping and lanterns above the tables were amazing! i own a couple vintage lanterns and love incorporating them into my home somehow.

(please excuse the poor photo....they look way better in person i promise!)

(random photo i found....but love the old trees with the lanterns hanging. totally my style and would have done those at my wedding in a heart beat, if it were outside)

overall i was impressed by her wedding. way to go lizzy mcguire!

SO happy

I just found out I passed the BOC which is the Athletic Training Certification test!!!!! I'm officially an ATC :) :) :)

I'm so glad I have family and friends who helped me get though this! This was such a big accomplishment and I wanted to share the news!!
